Sir Roger Moore Films in Connemara

Sir Roger Moore, better known for playing James Bond, will be filming his first movie in 10 years in Cong (across the Corrib from Oughterard) in August this year. This ‘Causeway Pictures’ romantic comedy ‘Connemara Days’ will star Sir Moore as well as see him as the executive director.

This love story will be situated on the set of the celebrated film ‘The Quiet Man’, to mark the 60th anniversary of the filming of ‘The Quiet Man’ in Connemara, Galway.
